DUE TO A LACK OF VOLUNTEERS ABLE TO COMMIT THE TIME AND ENERGY NEEDED TO REHOME CATS, THE COLNE VALLEY BRANCH IS NOT ABLE TO OFFER THIS SERVICE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
Cats Protection is the UK's leading cat welfare charity, rehoming and reuniting 55,500 cats and kittens a year through its nationwide network of 29 adoption centres, 253 voluntary-run branches and one rehoming centre.
The Colne Valley Branch covers an area around Braintree and Halstead in north Essex and, broadly speaking, covers CO6, CO8, CO9, CM7 and CM77 postcodes.
The branch is run by a committee of volunteers and our primary aim is to rehome and reunite cats and kittens within our area. Our vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs.
We also seek to alleviate the problem of unwanted cats, by offering information and advice about responsible cat ownership and promoting the benefits of neutering and are often able to assist towards the costs of this.
We try and promote responsible cat ownership through education and information and run comprehensive neutering programmes involving approximately 163,000 cats every year.
If you would like to volunteer to help within the branch, please ring FREEPHONE 0800 9889 417 for further information.
